SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM SIN, LIVE A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD
Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God Scripture Reading: 1 John 3:7-9
The Word of God in the above scripture clearly states the difference between children of God and those of the devil. Those of God strive to consistently practice the will of God in public and in private. They do not habitually live a life characterised by sin because they naturally long to please God. You as a child of God will not blend in with the worldly crowd. One separated from the things of this world is righteous.
On the other hand, he who practices wickedness and conforms to the things of this world is of the devil. The devil sinned and violated the divine law from the beginning. Thus, if you violate the will of God, you are of the devil. Do not be fooled into thinking that you are child of God when you are busy enjoying a life of sin, no matter how many times you go to church. There is no middle ground or in between position. You are either of God or of the devil.
Our churches today are full of people who claim to be children of God but they resemble the behavior of the devil. If you are one of those Christians, you are wasting your time going to church and your prayers will not reach heaven because you are not reconciled with God; God does not recognise you.
Most Christians will accuse you of judging them if you teach them the truth. But, is it not the Word of God saying those who practice sin are of the devil? Is it not God that is judging them through His Word? Child of God, do not be deceived by teachers who claim that living sinfully is acceptable when you have received Christ.
Do not allow yourself to be mislead to hell. Separate yourself from sin and live a life that is pleasing to God. This qualifies you to be a child of God.
