Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 7:1-2 Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’” So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

The bigger part of Old Testament is filled with the chronicles of the disobedience of the children of Israel. They were repeatedly ruled by evil kings who constantly led them away from the worship of the true God. Even though their indulgence in sin always landed them into trouble, they continued making the same mistakes. 2 Kings 7:24-33 gives yet another sad account of a nation that was abandoned by their God because of sin. Disobedience causes suffering and suffering often spills over to other people, even into future generations. In this instance, they were struck by a terrible famine that eventually led to the practice of cannibalism. The famine was so bad that a donkey’s head or dove droppings became so expensive that only the rich could afford them.

Though the king of Israel blamed God for the calamity that came upon Israel and Samaria, God still told him good news through His servant Elisha. He made a promise that within a day, the economic situation in Samaria would be completely reversed. There would be so much abundance that food prices would eventually drop. The royal official of the king questioned the Lord’s ability to make provision in such a miraculous way. The Lord judged Him harshly and told him that he would never benefit from the fulfilment of Elisha’s prophecy, even though he shall see it.
Indeed Elisha’s promise was fulfilled and there was suddenly an abundance of flour and barley around the time that the Lord had specified. This message comes to you today. Hear the Word of the Lord Child of God! By this time tomorrow, there shall be a miraculous turn of events in your life. Your tomorrow could be anytime from now. Everything that you have been praying for shall suddenly be made available in a miraculous way. The Lord shall reverse your situation and there shall be an abundance of flour and barley in your store house. It is going to suddenly flood in areas of your life where there was drought.

The Lord releases His Word to make an impact in the lives of His children and today, this Word is released just to change your situation. God always makes sure that His Word does not come back to Him without having accomplished what He sends it to do (Isaiah 55:11). This too shall not go back to the Lord empty. Hear this Word and receive it with all your heart beloved.
Do not doubt Him because God is not pleased by lack of faith. The royal official was sentenced harshly and told that he would not benefit from the fulfilment of the promise because he doubted. Believe God that even your name shall change by this time tomorrow. Streams shall flow from the very same desert that was extremely dry. There shall be life where there was none.
The Lord shall do this for His name sake and you shall know that Jesus Christ is Lord. You are going to experience miracles of water flowing from a rock. He is the God of abundance and He has got whatever you need. Receive it in the name of Jesus!
