2 Samuel 6:12-15 Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God”. David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.

1 Samuel 4 details for us the events that took place when Israel went out to fight against the Philistines and how the ark of the covenant was captured by the Philistines. The ark only stayed in the land of the Philistines for seven months as the Lord struck the Philistines with multiple plagues. Those of Philistine returned the ark back to Israelites in a cart which rested beside a large rock at the field of Joshua of Beth Shemesh (1 Samuel 6). Some inhabitants of Beth Shemesh looked inside the ark and God struck them to death. Those of Beth Shemesh were terrified because of the heavy blow the Lord had dealt them and they took the ark to the people of Kiriath Jearim where it stayed for a long time until David brought it to the city of David in the first year of his reign (2 Samuel 6).

Whilst the ark was being taken from Kiriath Jearim to the city of David, the oxen carrying the cart stumbled at the threshing floor of Nakon and Uzzah reached out and took hold of it in order to help it but the Lord’s anger burned against him and God struck him down. David was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah. He was afraid of the LORD and took the ark to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite where it stayed for three months; and the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and his entire household.

When David heard that the Lord had blessed the household of Obed-Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God, he decided to take the ark from Obed-Edom’s house to Jerusalem, the City of David. There was such a great celebration when the ark was being transported to Jerusalem. David and all of Israel danced before the Lord with all their might with shouts, sounding their shofars marking the arrival of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

2019 is our year of great celebration. We will celebrate the presence of the Lord and shall blow our shofars declaring that the Lord has ascended to our dwelling places and to our city (Psalm 47:5). We will welcome Him with rejoicing and shouting and the blowing of shofars. He is our Alpha and our Omega, our beginning and our end. When the enemy rises up against us, our Lord stands as our defender. When the enemy tries to hedge us in and to close us in, our God always answers by Fire. He is the one with the final say over our lives. That is the reason why we celebrate Him. He uses every occasion and occurrence in our lives to bless, to heal, to save, to deliver, to fast forward and to raise us up. It does not matter what the devil’s plans are, because in all things, God always works for our good (Romans 8:28)

In Luke 1:5-25, God uses the story of Zechariah to show us that he can turn hopeless situations around and bring life to dead dreams and visions.

Zechariah had a dream of holding a son and having an heir. He kept dreaming and nothing happened. Years of him hoping went by until he reached a point where he was too old to can hope anymore. His wife grew old and her womb was as good as dead. Her old age was reason enough for Zechariah to stop hoping as she was past her child bearing years.

Zechariah continued to serve faithfully as priest in the house of God even when he was not receiving what he had hoped for. In his heart, God remained God despite the fact that he had no son. He understood that his situation could not change who God was. To Zechariah, the Lord was God irrespective of whether he had a child or not. He continued in righteousness burning incenses in the house of God, with the people of God worshipping outside the temple. He loved and feared God and was not serving God out of obligation or in order to receive blessings.

When it was time for the Lord Jesus to be manifested, God chose Zachariah, the man who was faithful before Him and continuously serving in His temple, to be the father of the forerunner of Christ. The angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah in the temple where he was serving and said to him, “do not be afraid, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth”. Since Zachariah knew his physical and biological condition and that of his wife he said to the angel, “how shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.” The angel answered Zachariah and said, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.

Zachariah’s time to be a father had expired according to the knowledge and standards of people. He had also long forgotten about his prayer request. When Gabriel was sent to him, it was already over for Zachariah, but it was not over for God. Even when Zachariah doubted, the angel did not take away the blessing as Zachariah’s prayer was already answered. He just said, you’ll be mute until John is born. The miracle was released already, his prayer was already heard and the answer already dispatched. It was supposed to be manifested. This is so because when God releases a word, He watches over it to makes sure that it gets fulfilled (Jeremiah 1:12).

Blessed reader, you are reading through this message because the Lord wants you to know that “your prayer is heard” and that it is time for your answer to manifest. Those prayer requests which you presented to God a long time ago, and even fasted seeking His face regarding them; the prayers of old which you have now forgotten about or are no longer praying about or mentioning before God as you feel that they can no longer happen as their time is long past; your womb of faith regarding conceiving such miracles is long dead and there’s no hope left in you regarding them. Reading through this message today, know that your prayer is heard, and your John has to be born.

May the Holy Spirit come upon you and remind you of all those things which you have long forgotten about; those things which are long pushed out of your subconscious mind. Let the Spirit of God bring that back to your memory and show you which of those dreams and visions needs to be born. I know that there’s a struggle in your mind right now and you are saying that Pastor Mukhuba cannot be referring to ‘that’ situation in my life which is dead and expired, time has passed for it already and I no longer have visions and dreams about this, how can it be?, how do I even begin to hope about this condition anymore?.

Child of God, that is the exact situation I am talking about, your John shall bring you great joy. The reason why the Holy Spirit is bringing that condition to your mind is because that is the exact miracle that the Lord wants to do in your life right now. God is resurrecting your womb of faith which you consider dead, faith is rising up inside of you. (Isaiah 60:1). After today, you won’t talk much because if you talk too much you might ruin your blessing by expressing other things which are inappropriate or contrary to your blessing.

Receive this word and allow it to settle in you; allow your heart to be fertile soil where this word can grow and germinate. The Word of God is Power, it is a consuming Fire, the Hummer of the Lord that shutters rocks into pieces (Jeremiah 23:29); it is the Seed of the Lord. When you allow it to settle in your heart it will bring forth fruit (Isaiah 55:11). The very same prayer you are currently doubting was heard then, when you prayed it. You are about to receive your miraculous answer. Do not entertain the voices sent by the devil to come and discourage you. Tell all those voices to SHUT UP!

The Lord says that nothing shall be impossible (Luke1:37), so do not accept those who bring you messages which says ‘never’. If I say something will happen, then it will happen, because I am Pastor Mukhuba, and I stand in the presence of the Lord.

Isaiah 44:26 tells us that God carries out the words of His servants. That situation which you were told can never change, and you even believed that it is impossible for it to be altered, I stand a servant of the Most High God and am telling you that “your prayer is heard”. The cry you made to the Lord is heard and it is time for you to see that miracle manifesting physically. Let all opposition in your mind and all voices whispering to you hear now, and you also hear this which I am saying, that “I am Pastor Mukhuba and I stand in the presence of the Lord, and I say to you that your John shall be born. Your answer is released and is coming to you and it will bring you joy. Your things have arrived in the mighty name of Jesus. Raise up your hands and receive your miracles wherever you are”. It can never be over until your Lord says so. He knows your beginning and your ending. All the other voices are lying.
