"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Scripture reading, John 15:4-5

A man without God is a dangerous man. The commandments of God are a fence, a border, a stop sign. One who is not governed by the laws of God does not have anything that stops him from doing wrong things especially if he is in a position of power. When a child of God thinks of hurting another person, the commandments of God will restrict him. He is governed by love and he will practice love yourself as you love your neighbor. But an evil man does not have such a fence that he is not supposed to cross. As long as he can get away with it without suffering consequences himself, he will do whatever he wants to do. Evil men lack love, they lack sympathy and empathy. That is why criminal activities are on the rise in our land. We really need to go back to the ways of God. May the Lord help us to go back to Him.
