Love is willing to sacrifice for the good of others, even unto death. You can know for certain of God’s great love for you because He allowed His Son to die in your place, to take the punishment for your sin so that you can be free from eternal judgement and live forever with Him.

- 1 John 4:9 demonstrates this kind of real love which says that: “God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

(NLT)Key Verse: Romans 8:35-39

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (ESV)

The main question asked is WHO and WHAT can separate you from the love of God. John is convinced that not even death which is the most daunting thought in all comparison can separate us from the love of God. He clearly puts it that in all creation, nothing will be able to separate you from the love of Christ Jesus our Lord.v.36.

The Lord created you and for that, He loves you and cares about all aspects of your life. For He loved you so much that He sent Jesus Christ to come down to earth to carry the burden of your sin and pay by suffering greatly so that you can be saved.

He did not give up on you, He kept on drawing you to Him though you were lost, following your own path and unlovable in sin. This truth guarantees that nothing and no one qualifies to separate you from His true love that manifested through His Son Jesus Christ.
