For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Scripture reading: 2. Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)

As children of God, although we live in the world, we do not wage war like the world does. We are like all natural men physically but our weapons of warfare are conducted in the realm of the spirit, not with swords and guns. Our weapons have the divine power to demolish strongholds because they are not fleshly weapons but spiritual.

You should know that your battle is a spiritual battle, and it is in the realm of the spirit where it is won or lost. As soon as you win the fight against the devil spiritually you have already won it physically and the devil cannot defeat you.

Each time you pray and read the Word of God, you are demolishing the strongholds which the enemy assigned against you. In essence, your prayers have the power to overthrow the kingdom of darkness. You might not see it physically but the spiritual effects are enormous. You should never doubt your prayers each time you pray because your prayers penetrate all the places where there are strongholds./p>

The weapons God gave you have the power to demolish everything that stand against the knowledge of God, everything that is trying to shake your faith in Christ. Remain steadfast with the Lord, and nothing shall by any means overcome you, because God has given you the power to defeat the enemy and his evil schemes.
