Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Scripture Reference: James 4:4 (NKJV)

As Christians these days, we are being pushed to annul the truth and good morality as required by the Lord. We are taught to tolerate and accommodate everyone even those who sin, we are taught to accommodate lies, deceits and falsehood. As a child of God who is faithful to your Father you should not tolerate sin. The Lord does not want you to associate with the world.

You cannot have a relationship with God and with the world. In other words, you cannot love both God and the world’s values. Yes God loves us all even sinners, but God hates their sin. You are sent here on earth to destroy the things of the devil and not to accommodate them. How will people of the world respect your God and change their ways whereas you as a Christian you do not know where you stand?

You claim to be a child of God yet you still lead your life as the world does, you lie, you practice homosexuality, you live in adultery and you fornicate. There should be a distinction between you and the people of the world. People should know that you are separated, you are distinguished.

Like with the Israelites in Exodus 23:25, you shall have everything your heart desire, only if you walk by the Lord’s precepts. Do not transgress the commandments of God, or else the relationship will be terminated. Once you bow down to the gods of the world you then lose everything the Lord has promised.

Worship the Lord and Him only, then you will experience divine health and multiplication in your life. Many people want to succeed but they refuse to walk by God’s commandments.

You can confess the Word of God but if you still live in sin, your confession of the word means nothing because you are still attached to the values of the world. God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does His will (John 9:31).

Do not accommodate the things of the world, be separated and then you will experience the goodness of the Lord.
