AS A DISCIPLE, BE DILIGENT AND ENDURE HARDSHIP UNTIL THE END

Always show diligence and never allow sluggishness to rule your life, you should persevere and run the race until you finish. The work of God is not for lazy people. As a worker in the house of God, you belong to the group that runs until the end and not the one that relax while running.

It is stated in 2 Timothy 2:3-7 that “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.”

You should endure hardship as a soldier of Jesus Christ. By choosing to be a disciple, you have left behind the life that used not to benefit you or anybody, a life of a civilian; because you know you have to please your Commander, Jesus Christ.

You are a soldier of Jesus Christ who is enlisted in the army that has been commissioned to do great works for the Kingdom of God here on earth. Thus do not strive to be understood by the people of world.
