Important Words: Your sins are forgiven
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future
God loves young people. He cares about them very much. They are not left behind in the word of God. If you are a young person know that the plans of God for your life are good. He has plans to prosper you and to provide you with a good future. Do not listen to the discouraging messages of the enemy which say you are useless and you will amount to nothing. You are God’s handiwork and you are created to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). Believe the word of God in your life and you shall succeed in life.
There are many challenges facing the youth of today. Many are growing in families where they are not supported at all. Some are growing up in poverty. Some are abused by their relatives. Many are exposed to criminal activities at a young age. There is peer-pressure and some are being enticed into Satanism. Some are discouraged by the adults in their lives who call them names and hence damage their self-worth. Some are exposed to sexual activities at a young age and there is the challenge of HIV and teenage pregnancies. There is also the temptation to do drugs and alcohol abuse.
All these things have an impact on young people who are growing up in our society. You however, have to choose what is right. I would encourage you to read Psalm 1 and be encouraged in your spirit to make wise decisions that are inspired by the Spirit of God.
Young people can overcome all the forces that are there to destroy them through the power of God. You have a choice to make as a young person, whether to follow those who do wrong or whether to follow those who do right. It is up to you whether you give yourself excuses to do wrong things and then ruin your future or you choose to do right and invest in a good future. You can do wrong and blame your parents or blame your teachers and even the government but that will not help you.
You can be like Joseph in the Bible who refused to give in to temptation. He ended up being in charge of matters of governance in Egypt. If you want to see yourself in a position of power and influence one day, be focused and refuse to fall into temptation. You can follow the example of Daniel and his friends who chose vegetables and water over the enticing delicacies of Babylon. Daniel was also promoted and he became the ruler of the whole province in that land.
You need to be disciplined in order to achieve greatness in life.
>Know that God has already predestined you for greatness. He knew you before He formed you in your mother’s womb and He has ordained you for a higher life. Your life should affect others positively. You need to have a positive impact in the lives of others and you need to play a notable role in society. You can only achieve that by surrendering your life to Christ. Live for Him every day and be obedient to His word. His Holy Spirit shall guide you and give you wisdom on how to succeed in this world where there are many negative forces.
I pray for you that the Lord should be with you, that He should keep you safe and rescue you from all evil attacks. May He prosper you spiritually, physically, mentally, in your studies, your job and your business in Jesus’ name. Be blessed!
