Ms Amanda Ntoni experienced financial challenges in 2017. She had a good paying job but had nothing to show for it as her salary would be exhausted a day after getting paid. She would be forced to borrow money from loan sharks in order to afford her living expenses. Her car would often breakdown and she would have to take it to the mechanics for repairs. The mechanics would not find anything wrong with the car but would still charge her for the service rendered. Her children had ill health and would consult doctors every second month. She was drowning in debt due to all these challenges.

Amanda was also living in fornication. Nothing was going well in her life. She moved from one church to another without experiencing any change. She neither paid her tithes nor gave freewill offering whilst at church.

Amanda attended the Cape Town Impartation service on the 9th of June 2017 and received her deliverance after the Servant of God Pastor Mukhuba prayed for her. Amanda received counselling from a UBN Counsellor who explained to her that she was opening a door for the devil to access her life through fornication and not paying her tithes. The counsellor advised her to start paying tithes and to stop fornicating. Amanda did not take heed of the counselling received but decided to stay away from church.

During the month of November, Amanda attended another night prayer hosted by Pastor Mukhuba at Unity Fellowship Church Cape Town branch. Pastor Mukhuba encouraged the congregants to be faithful in paying their tithes and giving to the Lord. She also made an altar call for the 2018 UBN Overflow Offering and declared that those who would give to the Lord would experience an overflow of blessings in their lives. This time around, Amanda decided to be obedient to the word preached and responded to the altar call made and honoured the Lord with her offering. From that time on, she started attending church faithfully and to practice the messages preached. She separated with the man she was fornicating with and began to pay her tithes faithfully. She decided to partner with UBN in order to help Pastor Mukhuba to preach the gospel to the nations of the world. As she continued being obedient to the word of the Lord and the teachings of her Pastor, the Lord turned her life around healing her children and her finances. By January 2018, Amanda paid off her debts and is now experiencing financial freedom and also able to give money to others in need.

In June, Pastor Nkuna gave a sermon about the Shunamite woman who built an upper room for the Servant of God Elisha who frequented Shunem and always passed by the woman’s house to eat. Pastor Nkuna encouraged the congregants to build an upper room for the Servant of God Pastor Mukhuba by financially pledging towards her fiftieth birthday. Amanda was one of the people who pledged and the Lord has been blessing her since she made that pledge. She wrote everything she was trusting God for on her pledge envelope as per the advice given by Pastor Nkuna during his sermon.

On the 31st of October 2018, Amanda received a salary increase at work. After giving her First Fruits offering, she informed Pastor Nkuna that she wanted a new car. The Pastor blessed her and declared that she would own cars and houses. On the 7th of November 2018, Amanda applied for vehicle financing and it was approved and processed the very same day before she could even sign the financing documents. She collected her brand-new automatic car the following day on the 8th.

On the 4th of November 2018, Amanda received the 2019 UBN Overflow envelope from church. Soon after that her daughter was selected for a Global Teen Tour from a Leadership Development Program at School. Her daughter will be going to America in July of 2019 during the school holidays. The Lord has also enabled Amanda to pay her deposit for the 2019 Israel Jubilee tour with Pastor Mukhuba. Amanda is grateful to the Lord for opening the eyes of her understanding as she now understands that the Lord blesses those who are obedient to His Word (Deuteronomy 28).

Beloved, it is impossible to experience the blessings of God whilst still living in sin and disobedience (Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 John 1:6). It is also a futile exercise to expect blessings from the Lord when you are disobedient to the godly leaders whom the Lord has placed over you. Hebrews 13:17 says: ”Listen to your pastors, and do not resist them, for they watch for your souls as those that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief; for that is unprofitable for you” (JUB). Amanda only experienced change in her life after obeying the teachings from Unity Fellowship Church where God has placed her. If you are fellowshipping under a true Servant of God, the Lord will bless you just by being obedient to the teachings of your spiritual leader.
