FROM RENTING TO OWNING A MANSION

Mr and Mrs Mohlaloga stood at the altar to give praises to God Almighty for promoting them from a life of renting to owning a mansion. They were filled with so much gratitude and thanksgiving to the Lord as they shared their testimony. They had desired to own a house ever since they started working but were unable to afford one as they were drowning in debt. They were forced to live in a rented house. After coming to Unity Fellowship Church, their lives changed for the better through obedience to the teachings of the Servant of God. God blessed the Mohlalogas with businesses and they managed to settle their debts. Around January 2017, they decided to buy a stand in Limpopo to build the house of their dreams. They bought the stand and when they returned to Johannesburg, they arranged for building plans for the house to be drawn.

Around April 2017, they noticed that they had not been to Limpopo since January 2017. They then concluded that it was not necessary for them to build a big house in Limpopo while they spent most of their time in Johannesburg. They decided to rather search for a stand around Gauteng as they already had a building plan drawn. Some of the stands they viewed were not big enough to accommodate the building plans they had, and those that were big enough were too costly.

They then decided to rather search for a house through an agent. They viewed several houses until they found one which they liked. They placed an offer and it was accepted. They also applied for the bond and it was approved. They transferred the money for the deposit of the house, but the money was not received by the attorneys who were handling the process. The money could not even be traced. The owner of the house decided to change his mind about selling the house after the Mohlalogas made the deposit that could not be traced.

The agent then offered them three more houses. After viewing the second house, Mrs Mohlaloga wanted to place an offer because she loved it, but the agent advised them to wait until they see the third house. When they got to the area where the house was situated, they realized that it was an upmarket suburb with very big beautiful houses and that affluent people were living in that area. At that moment Mr Mohlaloga concluded that this was beyond their affordability and their standard. When they viewed the house, which is situated on a hill, they immediately told the agent that they could not afford it even before the agent could tell them the price. The agent then told them that the owner had already dropped the selling price of the house and that there was a possibility of him dropping the price again.

As much as they were amazed by this, the selling price was still beyond their affordability. They nonetheless signed the offer to purchase, which the agent took to the bank. The bank did an evaluation of the house and dropped the price again with approximately R125 000 from the selling price proposed by the owner. This meant that they could afford the house. In addition, the bank approved them for an 80% bond and they managed to pay the 20% that was outstanding.

Mr and Mrs Mohlaloga are grateful to God because they now have their own house, and not just a house but a mansion. They attest that there is power in obedience to the teachings of the Servant of God, and in offering and also in being connected to the Servant of God Pastor Mukhuba. They are amazed by the wonderful works of the Lord. Mrs Mohlaloga added that they had nothing prior to coming to Unity Fellowship Church. However, God took them out of the dust and today they are flying high like eagles. Moreover, Mrs Mohlaloga is thankful to God for leading them to Unity Fellowship Church and to also thankful for the prayers of the Servant of God Pastor Mukhuba.

The Lord lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor (1 Samuel 2:8). He makes a way where there is no way. Those who hope in Him and rely on His Word are never covered in shame. Obedience to the Word of God is connected to blessings. The book of Deuteronomy 28: 1-15 tells us more about the blessings that come because of obedience to the Lord. Our God is not a respecter of persons and His promises are yes and amen. I therefore encourage you to be obedient to the Word of God in order to live your days in prosperity and pleasure. You will also fly high like an eagle as the Mohlaloga’s. May you be blessed as you glorify God for this testimony in the name of Jesus!
